Frequently asked questions

Please read and complete all required forms prior to your first appointment. These forms will be made available to you through a HIPAA compliant portal once you have scheduled your first appointment and created a secure login via the Therapy Appointment platform. Your therapist will explain the necessary steps during the 15 minute introductory call once you determine that the therapist is a good fit for you.

Dr. Sheffer is in network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Medicare, and United Healthcare. I am considered out of network with all other insurance companies but would be happy to provide you with a form to submit to your insurance so that you can be reimbursed if your policy allows for out of network benefits.
